DT Services Ltd were asked to replace the old roller shutters in Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottingham, for a Boyes store.
The old shutter was manually chain operated, making it more difficult and time consuming to operate than an automatic roller shutter. Manual shutters are more generally suited to low-usage entrances, or places with lack of electricity. What's more, this shutter did not have an anti-drop brake device, which presented a risk to staff and property.
Roller shutters without an anti-drop brake could be in breach of health and safety legislation, which is why DT Services always include them as part of our roller shutter installation. This protects your staff and stock, as well as your business from hefty fines, or worse, should a serious accident occur. We also offer maintenance plans to keep your doors running safely, and in-line with current health and safety laws.
The new 240 volt electric roller shutter installed by DT Services allows staff at the Boyes store in Kirkby in Ashfield to load and unload deliveries much more quickly and safely, giving improved efficiency to the store.
