Donation to Hull Royal Infirmary
Every year, the staff at DT Services in Hull make a donation to a chosen charity. Charities are chosen based on discussions with staff and we donate to something locally that we believe in.
This year, we partnered with James Ray Recruitment, a local Hull recruitment agency, to collect as many Christmas gifts as we could and deliver them to our local hospital, Hull Royal Infirmary. Spending time in hospital is never easy, and especially over the Christmas period, so we wanted to do our bit to make a difference to someone’s Christmas.
Our gifts were carefully chosen for the Children’s Ward, and the elderly patients’ wards including for those suffering from dementia.
We were delighted to have received a strong response from the local community, including our partners at Phoenix Building Systems Ltd who donated numerous teddies and other gifts for the hospital.
Shortly before Christmas, our directors delivered over 150 gifts, which the grateful nurses handed out to patients.
We are proud to play our part in supporting our local community.
